SKIN1004 Centella Light Cleansing Oil vs Medicube Zero Pore Oil

By GlowReaJo Team·May 14, 2026

Two Cleansing Oils, Two Jobs

People sometimes treat all cleansing oils as the same product, but the difference between these two is the difference between a yoga session and a deep tissue massage. Both useful, very different.

SKIN1004 Centella Light Cleansing Oil

  • Texture: Light, runny, almost watery for an oil.
  • Hero ingredients: Centella asiatica, light plant oils.
  • Best for: Daily evening cleanse, sensitive skin, anyone whose skin gets red easily.
  • What it does best: Removes sunscreen and light makeup without irritation.
  • Emulsifies: Very easily, rinses clean.

Medicube Zero Pore Blackhead Deep Cleansing Oil

  • Texture: Slightly thicker, more massage-friendly.
  • Hero ingredients: Pore-targeting actives, BHA-supporting blend.
  • Best for: People with visible blackheads, congested skin, oily T-zone.
  • What it does best: Loosens sebum plugs with consistent use.
  • Emulsifies: Slightly slower than the SKIN1004; massage it longer for the pore benefit.

How to Decide

If your evenings look like: came home, light makeup, ready to relax, choose SKIN1004. It's the everyday daily-driver cleansing oil that's gentle and quick.

If your concern is the small bumps on your nose and chin that keep coming back no matter how much you wash, choose Medicube. Use it three to four nights a week, massage it onto dry skin for 60 to 90 seconds before emulsifying.

Real Use Tip

Cleansing oils only work when applied to dry skin and dry hands. Water before the oil means oil that won't break down makeup. Once the oil has done its job, add water with damp fingertips, swirl until it turns milky, then rinse thoroughly.

Can You Switch Between Them?

Yes. A lot of people use the SKIN1004 on busy days and the Medicube two to three nights weekly when they want a deeper cleanse. The skin gets gentle most days and targeted pore care when it needs it.

What to Follow Up With

Both should be followed by a water-based second cleanser, the classic Korean double cleanse. After a Medicube night, a centella toner is a smart calming step before serums.
